"La Fin des Sardonites" is an unpublished Heroïc Fantasy poem by Michel Houellebecq written between 1975 and 1980. Michel Houellebecq says about it:

"It is a text from my youth, the end is influenced by Burroughs. I was certainly also influenced by computer code listings, I wanted to produce something that gave the impression of self-engendering...".

The leporello text is accompanied by three original silkscreen prints by Gabriela Morawetz in a "bookwork" designed by the artist, Patricia Dupuy and Bernard Soria.
