About

The AnzenbergerGallery bookshop has been founded by Regina Maria Anzenberger on occasion of an exhibition with Martin Parr at the AnzenbergerGallery in March 2011. It has started as a book lounge with a small but carefully selected program.

In September 2012 the gallery has moved to the former premises of the Anker bread factory. It has been the biggest bread factory in Europe once. Galleries such as OstLicht. Galerie fuer Fotografie, Hilger Next, Galerie 11/nullnull by Kunstnetzwerk, atelier10, Bildraum Artist Residence and many other galleries and showrooms are located there.

The bookshop as a part of the AnzenbergerGallery has also been extended and can be visited at Absberggasse 27, 1100 Vienna, Austria. It focuses on rare, selfpublished, signed and limited edition photography books and is an alternative resource for all photo book lovers.

The anzenbergergallery-bookshop.com has been launched as an independent platform and shop on occasion of the first ViennaPhotoBookFestival in June 2013. The festival has been organized by AnzenbergerGallery and OstLicht. Galerie fuer Fotografie from 2013-2017.

The AnzenbergerGallery also hosts a circle for photobook collectors called „Bring Your Photobook“. If you are a passionate photobook collector and interested to join these meetings once a month please contact regina@anzenberger.com
