Published by limArt and produced by Yusuke Nakajima and Yoshihisa Tanaka (one part of artist duo Nerhol) in 2015, Takashi Homma's THIRTYFOUR PARKING LOTS is a photographic tribute to Ed Ruscha's artist books created in the late 60s and early 70s. Presenting a collection of photographs which attempt at capturing the same referencial motives of Ruscha's Los Angeles, Takashi Homma's THIRTYFOUR PARKING LOTS brings together a collection of images which capture parking lots from around the world. From Japan, Brazil, Australia and Iceland, Homma's portrayal is a wonderful reminder of the influences and impact of Ruscha's artworks.
