« L’Oiseau perdu » (the missing bird) is a project of the photographer Andrea Boscardin who starts from his refuge located in the Liguria’s mountains (Italy) searching for an imaginary bird missing in a mysterious forest.
We are in the middle of the Anthropocene* epoch and the artist invites us, with his work-investigation, to follow him on his journey-research immersed in Nature.
The goal is to get lost in order to find ourselves again, and to reflect about the delicate, fragile and sometimes « missed » relationship between human beings and Nature.
Combining a naturalist approach with a very mixed-media artistic practice, the artist opens us the doors to a delicate, discreet and fragile universe made by feathers et forest surrounded by a mysterious mist.
*Anthropocene is a geological epoch dating from the commencement of significant human impact on Earth’s geology and ecosystem, including climate change.
